On "Disco Death" from The Last of England OST (Mute) 1987
[Instantly] It's the JB Slik record on Leiterwagen. It's an Albert Oehlen production. JB Slik is a persona of the artist Jörg Schlick, from Graz in Austria. [Upon seeing the interviewer's evident bewilderment] Isn't it? [Shown the album] Well, it's been sampled on the JB Slik album. Is it Mayo's track? Good call. That's hilarious! The JB Slik track samples this, with the worst, funniest faux scratching you've ever heard. I took it on tour a couple of years ago and would always ask for that track to be played after the show, because everybody would turn to the DJ and start shouting.
