Cabaret Voltaire play their first London date since last October when they appear at the Hammersmith Clarendon on May 1 with Red Crayola and Young Marble Giants.
The band's previous London concert has been released as a live album by Rough Trade and they have just completed their second studio album, which will be released in June. They've just released a 12-inch single of their more experimental music on Rough Trade as well, called 'Three Mantras' which lasts for 40 minutes.
It's Red Crayola's first gig this year as well and the current line-up is Mayo Thompson, Gina Birch, and Lora Logic, all of whom have been working with other bands since they last appeared together.
Young Marble Giants have just released an album called 'Colossal Youth' on Rough Trade and have a new single out next month.

Cabaret Voltaire play their first gig in London since October on May 1 when they appear at the London Clarendon Hotel on May 1.
Since then a recording of their last gig has been released by Rough Trade as a live album. It's now followed by what's been described as "the world's longest single"—a 33rpm, 20 minutes-a-side release entitled 'Three Mantras', out this week.
Tickets for the Clarendon gig, which also features The Red Crayola and Young Marble Giants, are available in advance at £1.75.
