Retrospectives
Mayo Thompson, 2023[1]
[Steve] Cunningham and I were both Sherlock Holmes fans. We read all of the stories. You know, I had a book this thick that was my mother's book. I lost it and paid for it, in various ways. But we read all that stuff and we loved, we loved Sherlock Holmes. [...] We didn't work everything out. We had some ideas and we would start playing. A lot of that record [...] was made up on the fly. And that particular tune is maybe the third take of our second or third try at something.
