Mayo Thompson, 2023[1]

"Here I come again" — that's David Grubbs singing. He wrote that, yeah. That lyric comes from lyrics that I did with Albert [Oehlen] and Werner [Büttner] in a book that I did with them [33 Songs].

David Grubbs[2]

Right before we started writing [Gastr del Sol's Camoufleur], we had both played on the Red Krayola's Hazel. When I brought in the music for "Another Song, Another Satan" — and also for a number of things for the Prina record [Push Comes to Love] — I remember Jim [O'Rourke] being dumbfounded: "Why don't you write things like this for Gastr del Sol?" So I did.
